Hi, I’m the owner of Pome as well as a photographer and the hair stylist who will be doing your hair. I tailor the latest trends to work with the tendencies of your hair’s texture by combining technical skill with a photographer’s eye for detail, to make it easier for you to prep in the morning with the plant-based products I recommend.

Pome’s clients are easy-going people who prefer to run off the beaten track –with a style that grows out well.  But don’t take my word for it; read their Word of Mouth.

(Pronunciation: My name rhymes with hey and Pome rhymes with home)

Pome carries plant-based products and non-ammonia colour.

Hair product rep.: “Have you tried our new mousse?!”
Shai: “No, because it’s an aerosol.”
Rep: “Oh, but the company pays carbon offsets so it’s okay.”
Shai:”It’s better not to be putting it in the atmosphere in the first place.”
Hair product rep awkwardly silent.

Styling paste made with plant gum instead of petroleum

In an effort to keep you, me and the planet healthy, I use and sell products with plant-based ingredients, but before I”ll carry them they have to deliver results.  I’ve yet to be wowed by hair on clients using “natural” shampoo from the health food store; they’re not doing anything other than not being toxic

The plant-based products I carry are made by hair professionals active in the industry. They not only improve the condition of your hair and scalp but give the styling results you’ve been craving from the natural texture of your hair.
They are
-unscented and not dyed
-fragranced with essential oil
-made with naturally derived and/or renewable resources
-no paraben or sodium lauryl sulphate
-Some conditioners are almost all plant ingredients.
